lowering help
i got a 98 civic coupe and was wondering if i was to put 16" wheels on it would they get rid of my wheel gap at stock height? or should i drop it first and go with 15's i cant decide. need help
Larger profile tires help to eliminate wheel gap but only slightly. I went from 195/50/15s to 205/50/15s and the car looks much better now even at stock height than it did before with the same rims.
Honestly, I'd lower it first, if possible, and then get rims so you reduce the risk of rubbing after you buy your rims and tires...

i would lower your car, and get rims at the same time. Don't half *** it, also in the long run you will save on part wear, COST, and time..
don't forgot you need an aligment after mounting rims/dropping the car.....
