Default d sreis motors

i have a 94 civic and i would like to know whats the best single cam motor for my car
how hard is it to install
and another thing how hard is it to wire a jdm d15b in to my dx cupe any help would be appreciate .

Make sure to get Vtec and not VtecH.

IMO, the d16z6 from the 92-95 civic ex would be the best and would be a nice platform for turbo.

Wiring isn't extremely difficult and you can use your stock motor mounts. However, you may want to replace them, because your mounts are 10 years old and most likely starting to crack.

Has anyone asked him what motor he's got in there now? What model civic do you have?

Edit: Oops, just read its a dx, I Thought all he'd have to do would be wire up vtec? And use an EX ECU?
