Default batt problum

Ok I relocated my batt to the back using 2 62in 8m batt cable now my batt light keeps coming on and off at random times, but my volt meter is at 13 where it should be , but new problum is that the volt meter is going from 13 to 18 and all my lights are geting brighter when it tweeks out like that but that only happneds some times can any one hellp me ?

Check the voltage regulator. 14.4V is the highest voltage you should see with the car running.

how long is your ground wire?

it should be about 8 inchs long.
