e-brake light always on
A couple weeks ago whenever I would take a turn quickly or hit a bump, my ebrake light would go on momentarily, I would tap my brake handle and it would go off. Now its on Always. I think something has to be tightened because its really weak and on steep hills it wont hold my car. Anyone have any experience with this??
Check the master cylinder reservoir. When the fluid level is low, the float will close a switch to turn on the brake idiot light circuit.
How are your pads wearing? A low fluid level could be caused by low brake pads/shoes . . . or, unfortunately, a leak in the system.

Brake fluid is on the driver side of the firewall under the hood. Brake pads go on your front discs... while the brake shoes go on your rear drums. Check these 3 things.

Master Cylinder (MC) is made out of clearsish plastic and has a gray cap on it, as stated above, it is on the driver side right infront of where your brake pedal is inside.
edit: And someone got a pic of it for you too

thank you VERY much for that pic
I'll post the level of the fluid when i get home. I know I was in need of pads soon. Where is a good place to pick up pads and shoes?? I know there's so many types of pads out, and i see different opinions. Websites? Is regular oem stuff the best??

Usually. OEM Honda pads and shoes offer the best balance of durability, stopping power, fade resistance, dust, and noise for a daily driver.
In other words, they last a long time, don't squeal, don't make a lot of dust, and stopping power is more than enough for a daily driven street car.
Now, if you wanted a little more bite and fade resistance, you might want to look into upgrading your front pads to something like an Axxis MetalMaster or AEM pad. And if you want the best stopping power available for a street-driven car (and something usable for autocross and light track duty), and don't mind a lot of dust and the occasional squeal, then you may want to check out Axxis Ultimates or Cobalt GT-Sports.
As far as the rear shoes go, OEM Honda is fine.

had the same prob man. light would go on and off randomly when i would make turns or hit bumps and crap. then it just finally stayed on for good i couldnt figure out what the hell was goin on! things like that drive me nuts.. had a low fluid level as it turns out.. filled her up, problem solved!
You know, I bet your e-brake light sensor is grounding itself. The light only comes on when the metal part of the e-brake supplies the ground for the light.
if your brake fluid is low, I would check your brake shoes/pads. Unless your brake fluid is leaking anywhere, your pads are worn.
If you keep driving like this for long, you will feel grinding soon (metal on metal)

Are the axxis pads a good bang for the buck over oem? Given we'd all like stopping power. But its not like my car is so powerful, and its not like i'm going so fast that i need to stop just as quick. I street drive daily, I wont be seeing any autocross or any track for that matter. If the aftermarket pads arent such a drastic inflation over oem, i'd probably get them. Price numbers off the top of your head?

I checked my fluid and it is low. But I remember filling up back in July. Should it be THIS low since only 5 months ago??

ah el vap, i got nervous when i saw that you posted. thought you locked it something haha. I've had the car since July and havent so much as touched the brakes. But from the sounds of things, I probably will do this.
