Default Is this a good price for a swap and mounts??

Okay I am not sure if this is a goo deal or not..

Its a complete swap from a 2000 Civic Si (b16a2). It comes with everything; axles, shiftlinkage, mounts, rear tranny bracket, dizzy, intake, altnernator, p/s pump, starter, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, and a DC Sports header.
Engine has 60,000 miles on it.

Plus it includes a Hasport hydro conversion kit and ACT clutch.
Brand new equipment.

All for 2450.00? Is this a good deal I am aware I can not use alot of this stuff since it is obd2 but I can sell it. Should I get it?

Is your vehicle OBD 1 or 0? If it's OBD 0, it would not be worth swapping everything over to match the extra OBD 2 electronics.

The price is low, but I don't think the money would be well spent there. Your 88 is OBD 1?

What are your intentions with all of these parts? You do realize that the motor is ment to work with OBD 2 electronics.

Okay well I actually have a SI in my 88 CRX right now this other motor would be going into my 85 CRX!!

I am aware of which parts need to be switched around since it is obd2 and I would need to run either obdo or obd1 all I am asking is if the package deal is a good deal??

This is what he wants for the swap 1850.

for the clutch and kit w/ swap 2450.00

Good deal or should I pass.

thanks,
shane

In my opinion, it's not worth it. Yes the price is low, but the amount of work and the amount of performance does not balance out. This is my opinion, take it for what you wil...

is there any reason other than more tuning options of changing up to the new obd? cause you can get a full 1st gen swap for like 1500 bones at hmotorsonline or nippon

Yeah I was looking at that. Not only am I a little weary of seals being bad... but the hasport mount kit is the cable-hyraulic!! Thats why I am wondering if I should get it. I mean I already have a nice ys1 lsd but I wouldn't mind having a hydraulic tranny either.

I was actual leaving my house to see if I can get a loan. I believe it is a good deal. I mean this is almost a front clip from what I was told. lol he said everything is there besides the radiator
