Okay when I shut off my motor it makes a sort of compression sound kinda like suction, is this a bad thing or normal? The motor seems to run excellent and is having no problems.

My old 320000km si motor never made that sound

 

I think it has to do with ur intake. my friends 02 civic does it, and you can hear it thru his intake.

 

might be sucking air through the idle adjust screw. i just had to replace mine because the rubber coating on it had dry rotted.

 

my girlfriends civic does that, its just from the intake. it kinda sounds like its lettin off pressure.

 

intake. You can hear it on any car if you run open throttle body.

 

Of course it the intake, mine does the same **** ( AEM short ram) dont worry its normal

 

must be because my bumper has a big damaged/modified "air route" right up to the intake box thanks for helping me out ht

Also I will check this out, my throttle body is the original old one maybe I will just get a new tb

 

I believe every honda motor makes that sound when shutting off the car. It's like a little "psssshhhhh" noise right? It's normal... no worries.
