Default are ground wires worth my time

I just bought a 97 accord ex. I am in the process of doing work under the hood and my freind said i might consider some red ground wires to go with the rest of red produicts i have. I will eventually buy a stereo system for my car this is why i thought i might want to get ground wires. I can get them fairly cheap and they will dress up under my hood a little more. Are the ground wires worth my time/.

performance wise...probably not (maybe) as far as stereo goes though, yeah they are worth it...less voltage drops or in some instances higher voltage

for a stereo though, the only ground you really have to worry about is the battery to chassis.

The chassis to engine block ground wire is also important.
Here is a good article on upgrading ground wires...

not exactly running a 4 gauge wire (or any large gauge) from alternator (+) to the battery (+) helps stereo wise as well
