tranny question.
on this link there is a picture https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=960527 it points where to fill up the tranny. also in the picture there are two more bolts on the front of the tranny, are you suppose to put any fluid in there? i am doing a motor swap, and it came with no fluid in the tranny. i put tranny fluid in the check plug that it points to in the picture, but when i go to disingauge my clutch it would die if i let it all the way out. thanks
In that picture, the top plug is the fill plug and the lower one is the drain plug. You can either fill it from the fill plug (upper plug), or the VSS hole which is on top of the tranny. HTH

I don't know why you filled up 'both' of them, you don't have to. Only fill up the tranny from the top bolt hole shown in that picture, or fill it up through the VSS hole. No need to fill it up through the drain plug, then the fill plug. If you've filled it up through the fill plug (the top one in the picture), that's it. You're done.

if you look at the picture again. you will see in the bottom of the picture on the right hand side. there is another set on the case. they are a higher than the others. and by the way im not retarded, i didnt fill through the drain plug then through the fill plug.

On the right side of the pic, the lower one with the 3/8" square socket hole is to get to the snap ring if you want to open the tranny...no need to fill here.
The one just to the right of that, I'm not sure. There are bolts in that area for removing the spring and metal ball that holds the shift forks in place, but that tranny is so dirty it's hard to tell...but either way no need to fill there either.

Sorry if I misunderstood you, but that's the way I read it.

So did you put twice as much fluid in your tranny, oil did you just evenly distribute the oil between them. BTW I always use hondabond on the snap ring location to make sure that it doesn't slowly leak oil fluid over time. They tend to do that if you don't. Sounds like you have major binding issues though.

There is also the pipe that is on top front of the tranny that is covered with a little rubber plug. Just put a hose on it and fill up the tranny that way. This is the only way I fill up the tranny and works just fine.
