car wont rev over 6800
just wondering if anyone has any ideas why my car wont rev over 6800. its a factory gsr ecu. i have coolant temp code, and spool solenoid valve code. any input would help a lot. thanks.

fix those codes and'd you'll be in business. You car is running in limp mode right now. it won't rev past 6800 becuase the ecu thinks that the car is not warmed up yet.
I had the exact same problem last month. Does your VTEC work? Are you throwing a VTEC OIL Presure Code 22 or P1258?
If so check your oil pressure switch ground. Ground the black wire that goes to the Pressure Switch directly to the frame if you have too. Solved my problem.

it is the oil pressure switch, vtec engages cause i have a vafc, but its throwing the code cause i have a jdm vtec solenoid with a usdm ecu. the jdm solenoid doesn't have the oil pressure switch, the usdm does. thats why i have that code. it took me 2 years to figure that out.lol thanks for the input, this is helping me a lot.
