A lot depends on what you want out of the car, amongst several other things?

There is a lot of things involved with an H22 swap and i was told that once you put one in you can't really put a B-series in. Stick with the killa B they still make good power just takes tuning and a well built motor.

A h22 in a eg isn't that hard and you could easly go back to a b seires from a h , the only real "fab" is drilling holes for the cables if you even call it fab work, hcp mounts you can install without that that much work just drilling a bigger hole you have to run other sensors that a d seriers doesn't have if you use the p13 but i'd go with a chipped p28 so you don't have to run the sensors you would with the p13 plus i would go with like after market axles, im about to do one in my eg if i don't lean towards a k20r

With the H22 you've got one tranny... with the b series motors you have many diffrerent transmissions to choose from

I think the F series tranny fits the H22, so you at least have 2 trannie to choose from. I would go with the H22, it's 0.4L bigger than the B18B. If you can make 120hp/L on either engine, you'll make 48hp more in the H22. Even if you make the same power, the H22 will have more torque and will be more reliable.

i have the h22 in a 94eg. i love it. the only thing i have done to the motor is str fuel rail, aem cold air intake, lsd, lieghtened fly wheel, and a cluchmaster stage three clutch. i had jasma headers, with 2 1/2 inch pipe to a spoon exaust, but i had to cut it off cuz of a smog ref. but didnt lose any power. i have put my car against everything and only lost twice. my boy had a fully built b20 that barley bet me by a half a car. on the freeway he couldnt see me. i laughe a turbo cars. the only thing is that the motors are a pain. iff you get one get rid of the automatic tensioner pully and go manual. make sure that when they cut off the passenger side mount that you keeo it so if you decide to swap out again you can. i would recomened the swap, but if you can go k20 do that. good luck

have an H22 in an EK hatch. Love it! Biggest downfall is that stupid cable tranny. If u can, look into gettting adapter plates and put a type R tranny on that biatch. Other than that torque just kills anything out there for other naturally aspirated hondas on the street.

stock h22 rapes in light chassis, i just saw a vid of stock h22 eg hatch- 13.7

i think was with bolt ons

ls-v aint worth it unless u go all out, and its probaly more worth ur time to go turbo if ur gonna do that, so its up u and what ur goals are
