Is the 2004 Honda Accord EX SIRIUS or XM ready?
Okay, this will probably be deemed a dumbarsed question, but I am SIRIUS!
I am curious because I do not like those stupid stick on the dash display units. I just installed it in my truck and was able to use my Kenwood's display. I really like it that way. Any clues? i figure I will have to buy the unit and I am hoping I can put it unde my seat and out of the way.

yes. the 7th gen accords come XM ready and installed. you even get a 3 month trial when you buy one. the xm antenea is attached to the top of the car (there's like a round bump right above the rear windshield)
no problem. XM is pretty cool, but i didn't continue my service after my 3 months was up. i'm not much of a radio person, but my girlfriend fell in love with it. so i got a receiver installed in her civic. what i'm saying is... if you're a radio person, i think it's worth the $9.99/mo. if you're not, then no need...
Got the XM with my 2005 EX V6 and love it. Will definitely keep it up when the 90 trial runs out. Especially like the comedy channel when stuck in traffic.
I have Sirius in my pickup and I love it. Keeping up with all those CD discs and cases is a major pain. I just added two 12" subs and a JL Audio amp behind the seats of my regular cab and now there is no storage area!lol
Anyway, I thought it would be neat to do the same to the Honda (not add the subs but keep the clutter out of the cabin.) I always have the radio on when I am in the vehicle and there aren't many good radio stations in my area. I am like a kid in a candy store!
Hey, thanks for all the help and insights! You guys are great!

Check this out. My 2004 EX doesn't have XM radio even though the owners manual and quick start guide says all EX have it. The button that is suppose to say CD/SAT says CD/AUX like DX and LX. It is weird because it is a 6-disc changer and I have controls on my steering wheel. Weird!
that doesn't sound right. i'm almost positive that you should have it. do you have an XM antennae on the top rear of your car?
honda salesperson here. the EX-L (ex with LEATHER) comes with XM pre-installed with a 3 month free trial. after that it's $10/month. if you have the ex cloth, you gotta buy all that **** and have it installed. you can tell because you have a little bump on the rear of the roof right above the rear windshield on the ex-Ls. that's your xm antenna.
Bingo!
Oh well, I bought a Sirius plug-n-play receiver with the car and home kits for $49.99 and $6.99 per month for programming (since I already have Sirius in my truck.)
Thanks for putting an end to my quest for an XM answer Josh.
