car: 95 honda accord
motor: H22A4 2000

i have been have problems with my idle(very sporadic), when i get on the gas, it hesitates some times( other times its great), and today i put my ear next to the dist. while it was running and heard like a wierd noise. i went to get some help and found out my dist. is arking! i then checked the timimg and it was way advanced! i put it back to 0, and my car will not idle right, up and down, up and down. also when i hold the timing light on the marks it moves with the idle, is my dist bad? please let me know! thanks

Are you throwing a check engine light ? Am i speaking greek or do you know how to pull the code ?

I dont think a bad dizzy would cause your idle to fluxuate, although stranger **** has happened.
