hey everyone, i want to get an alarm intalled on my 93 Civic DX Hatchback. Anyone know if it would be expensive considering i do not have power door locks ? how would they go about it without power door locks ? Please let me know anything you can

You need to add a door lock actuator for each door, which usually cost about $20 each. Installation of the actuators depends on the shop, but $50 each door is a good estimate. So you're looking at about $140 for power locks.

 

They can definitley install power door locks on my doors in my 93 civic hatchback dx? Is there anything else they would need to install an alarm? Please let me know

They can definitely install power doorlocks on almost any vehicle; including yours.

Depending on the alarm you buy, might need to buy a couple of relays to get power to the actuators. The alarm brain usually doesn't supply a strong enough pulse to directly drive an actuator...
