Weird Idling when in park
Only when I am in park and no matter wheather the engine is cold or hot I get this crazy idling problem it goes from 1500 rpm down to 1000 rpm, back and forth like that with a second in between. Any opinions welcome.
It should do that in neutral to right?
Can be an intake leak
or the IAC sensor. You will need to rmove it and try cleaning it with mineral spirits and a toothbrush. If that does not work, you will need to replace it.

Well maybe I didnt give the nuetral position enough time to do this, but I did it twice once while cold and another time while hot and both times produced the same result nothing but smooth steady idling.

Filthy,
Thanks for helping. No engine lights are coming on.
I had to replace a stud bolt that seats the fuel rod on top of the intake manifold because when I went to clean out my egr ports and put everything back on the top of the bolt broke of when securing the nut over the fuel rod!! I think it might be possible that the pcv valve was loose or one of those hoses connecting to the fuel rod were lose, because now the idling seems to have returned to normal.
