Default 1992 Accord will not start

My 92 Accord will start and die. I then have to wait several minutes before I try start it again. I don't do it all the time. It seems to happen when you are pressed for time. Am I jinxed or is other Accord owners having the same problem. I had a complete tune-up and timing job. I say about a month or so ago. My D4 light is flashing also.b

Hi.

I have a Honda accord 2.0i, (1990).

I live in Norway, I have the same problem *** u, I was on a gas station here in my home town, And they had an expert on honda accord`s, He said that the problem was the motor control piece, or Motor control unit.

I get this problem if i try to start the car to fast, but u can try to check ur batteri, Becouse I cleaned my battery electrode, today, and used some battery electrode grease on it, and it started 8 times a row, easy.

Pls try this, and give me a repport

Have you replaced the PGMFI relay? It is under the dash. I had the same issue, and it fixed it. The board on the relay will not work too well when either hot or cold.

Just my .02.

It was around $50 from my dealer.

You might be able to fix the relay if you are good with soldering iron and cicruit boards.

What does the flashing D4 light on the drive selector mean?
