How much work and $$$ does it take to lower a car properly!!!???
I'm really pist off already on how much time and money I have to put in lowered '96 Integra. I lowered my car about 2 years ago already w/ Neuspeed race springs. 1.75" in the front and 2" in the back. I was rollin' on 17". I had a camber problem that wore my tires on all four corners. I bought all four tires and got a camber kit to fix the problem. A year later a got new rims and tires (same size) and the negative camber **** is still happening. I've spent too much money on tires, which could have gone to performance ****. Does anyone know what the hell is up with my car. I don't think I need shocks or bushings and stuff... do I?
I personally don't think camber kits will help much if your car is that low. I stick with 1" drops. but did you install the camber kit and then got it aligned?? J/W
I got a camber kit and then got it aligned... along with new tires. By the way you have a nice car. Do you have anymore pics of your teg.
do you still need a camber kit with only a 1" drop? When i replaced my saggy old stock front springs with new stockers, i'm sure it rose a full inch. The back ones are still an inch lower.

No, you shouldn't need a camber kit with a 1inch drop. Usually, the rule is once you go lower than 1.5''....you'll run into negative camber problems.

I took it to some tire alingment shop and i told them to fix it. They did something with my controll arms to fix the camber to zero. It was all fine until I got my new rims. Does anyone know how to align a car?
are your tires rubbing?
usually what they do is bend your control arms to make the camber return to 0..
and they set your toe to stock.. I think it's 1/8" in or 0
your tires shouldn't wear.. unless you are drving hard.. in which case the outer edge will wear... or if its rubbing.. it'll wear...
check your springs and suspendsion parts for contact and check your wheel well for contact.
You need to go to an alignment shop.
or you need to have a flat surface, turnplates, and a toe bar.
But it's better to go to alignment shop. They usually have laser alignment

The Camber kits work just fine. With that kind of drop you need the ones that will adjust -3 - +1 degrees of camber. You also must rotate your tires frequently.
We have an auto hobby shop here and I hope people know how to use the alignment machine, it's laser alingment too. But thanks that was some good advice. I'm going to check out the alingment machine today and see what's up.
