92 CX 1.5 motor into a 93 4dr LX??
the reason for the swap is, my freind blew the LX motor up and i have this one layen around, so im asken if it would swap right into the engine bay ? useing the LX's axles motor mounts ?

Just remember that the CX from the 92-95 model run made only 70hp (8 valve head). The DX/LX motors made 102hp (16 valve head). In a car 200-300lbs. heavier, the thing may seriously be dangerously slow. If the head from the LX motor can be saved or freshened up relatively cheaply, bolt that on instead.

I would not recoment bolting on the 16valve lx head on the 8 valve cx block cause the block dont have enough valve reliefs

Good point... Granted, anD15B7 should be able to be acquired for $200-300 depending on condition, seller, etc.

Who would race on a beat up 1.5 liter motor? What were you racing, a little girl on a bike with tassles. And a 4 door to boot. I bet you were murdering those 84 ford escorts all day huh.

alright big mouth let me explain I was racing a 94 civic with ricer flames down the side I beat him and once I turned into work the car shut off and cranked back up only for it not to crank again I took good care of the motor regular maintenance and all just to find out thats what went wrong with the motor but i was just saying there is nothing wrong with a four door and switching to another single cam motor
