Default noisy cam gears

is this normal for newly installed cam gears?

i have Spoon(0,0) on a GSR

I did run into this on a set of AEM adjustables and it turned out that the cam gears were hitting the plastic rear timing cover slightly. Nothing a razor blade couldn't fix. Determine where the noise is coming from.

damn taht was quick. its definitely coming from the cam gears, but it doesnt seem to hit the plastic cover(i cut a portion of it off to show the gears, but the valve cover is still uncut) thanks for the reply
