Can old gas make your car run so bad it wants to shut down and also not really build boost?
Gas in car is about a month olf and the car hasnt bene started in the time. Can it make the car run really shitty? Like almost want to die, and not build boost?
yeah that and moisture build up in the gas tank, because you said the car had been sitting for a while.
Yea i figured it could make it run pretty shitty. But not build boost?
If so how the **** do i get it out without cyphering it?

I would'nt call month-old gas a problem...but if the tank only has say 1 gallon and temeratures are very cold to create condensation you could have problems.
well obviously if the motor wants to die/not produce power it's not gonna build boost, boost is formed by pressure, and i doubt u can form much pressure if your engines gonna die

true...but after i made it run for afew minutes it ran fine by itself at idle....but when i revved it didnt build any boost and some black/greyish smoke came out the exhaust..
it is under 1/8th of a tank and it has been kinda chilly here...how do i get it out without cyphering? lol

You don't have to cypher anything. There is a additive you can buy from you locate parts shop that evaporate out the condensation from the tank. I can't remeber the name of it, but my buddy had the same problem (condensation in the tank) and use this additive and everything was fine. Or just fill the tank up complete with new gas.
I have also heard that alchol added to the tank will help evaporate the condensation (but this is hear say i wouldn't do it unless i knew it worked).

i jsut went to the store and looked for that stuff, i found some kind of gas treatment, says on bottle that it helps revive old gas, and sinc ei cant drive MY car up to the gas station i got 3 gallons of new gas and put it in, i am letting it sit and dilute im about to start it.
I was on vacation for 2 weeks and came back. My car did have a hard time starting.
yeah man, get some "dry gas" or fuel cleaner at walmart. its like a dollar. then fill it up with fresh gas.
note this applies to all gasoline automobiles, not just civics. sitting gas can be cured bu addin new ****, and this cleaner, and just drive for a while.
yes, my car sits for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. after 2 months that old gas caused it to start hard, and was noisy and bitchy. has happened before, and after adding the **** and runnin throiugh new gas, it was the same as it was before.
it is normal, no problem.
