clutch problem
whenever i slip the clutch when tkaing off in first gear i hear a loud squeeling. it does it a tiny bit in 2nd gear too, i was told that it's my clutch master cylinder. Is this true? Do i need to replace it or is there any way i can fix it? I'ts a gsr tranny btw, help me out guys. Thanks
it's not the throwout bearing cuz i just replaced that.. it's when i'm taking off in first gear and i slowly slip the clutch... like actual engagement. It is stock disc and clutch. ty
Well, if it was during pedal travel, then it would most likely be the throwout bearing. However, you said you replaced that anyway. You also said it occured during engagement.
Hmm.....usually a squeaking would occur if you weren't using an organic disc and you were using a full/semi metallic material. Did you recently make a "mistake" and accidently glaze the disc over? How long ago did it start doing this?
