Default V-acf vs. Hondata...which one?????????????????????

For the money which one is a better buy? I only have engine back exhuast and cai on a 5th gen, how much power gain will I see from them if any? If got a V-afc I could get my friend to tune it but doesn't the hondata have to be turned by one of them? If I use hondata do i need to switch ecu's? NEED ADVICE!

why would you need hondata with intake and exhaust? my advice sell the vafc you have now and save up for other mods. you dont need either the vafc or hondata with intake and exhaust

Hondata is better hands down... but your application is basically stock so hondata may not be that beneficial to you. You may be able to pick up an additional 5-8whp with hondata for a large sum more than you would pay for a simple afc. Sometimes you gotta think about things from the monetary point of view compared to the benifits.

If you do go hondata, run the p28 for the h22a4. You'll also need an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.

If you are planning on going all out NA or turbo in the near future and are heavy into racing, then I would say hondata hands down.

I agree with using Hondata over the VAFC I am currently using the VAFC II with 550's. It works ok but now I am in the process if trying to find a P72 to use with uberdata. Go with Hondata or some sort of engine management if you decide to go forced induction. Good Luck.

your sig has WTB 4th gen suspension set up? I have front and rear AGX KYB shocks. I also have Tanabe Precedeo drop springs. I went with Tokico shocks and Eibach Pro kit springs instead. Let me know whats up.
