walhbro keeps priming??
okay 95 civic hatch. gs-r turbo. put a new pump in(walhbro-255). when i go to turn the key on it started priming but never stopped!! so i figure it's flodding. I start it and it idles up to like 3500. didnt let it run to long to see if it dropped down. the thing is, it keeps doing this. The pump won't turn off. Could this be a result of a bad main relay? i have another ecu i will try. and post what happens. Oh the ecu is throwin a TDC code (8). This happens if i leave it on for about 2 or 3 times the normal length it would take to prime. Earlier my batter was dead and i tried to start it and it clicked off and on several times because i have a starter kill and i thought my foot wasn't pressing it down all the way but it was. usually when its that dead it will just not click or anything. maybe this screwed the relay? i had it started after that so i doubt it but any help would be appreciated.
okay i tried a different relay and no luck still the same thing!! it couldn't be that the wires are reversed could it? It's made for the car and doesnt require splicing the wires. or has someone had to do this?
yeah but the pump should only run for 3 seconds to prime. Mine would keep going but it turns out it was a bad Ecu. So i made my dyno appointment on time!!!! I'm so happy lol
