you will have to remove the panel and attempt to move it all the way down. once u have it down there, u should be able to find a screw where u can loosen the window and have some free play with it. took me about 30 mins to do it and havent had problems yet.

i've done this at least a dozen times... it still happens. the track that's runing along the bottom of the window lowers on an angle... so it falls out of the track that runs up and down. i've played around with the screw, but it still happens. do you think i need a new track in there?

Happens to me all the time, Your window regulator could be bent to, mine was.

I think Ima go to a junkyard an just get all new tracks an everything if its not to pricey. This problem gets annoyin when it rains alot

yeah yo... always in the rain.
if you push down on it while you lower it down, it'll go down further... sometimes all the way. but it's so frustrating, i need it fixed.
so the gunk yard is the only suggestion?

Get a new regulator from Honda.... they aren't that expensive, Honda knows about the problem so the price has been kept reasonable.

I have both passenger & driver side manual regulators for 96-00 coupe/hatch, $20 shipped each. Dealer is $55 each + shipping. If anyone's interested give a holler!
