96 Honda Civic drivers window falls off the track
when the drivers window goes down about half way it falls off the track. then it doesn't go up all the way. i have to take off the door panel to temporarily fix it. but i'd like to fix it for good.... any suggestions???
you will have to remove the panel and attempt to move it all the way down. once u have it down there, u should be able to find a screw where u can loosen the window and have some free play with it. took me about 30 mins to do it and havent had problems yet.
i've done this at least a dozen times... it still happens. the track that's runing along the bottom of the window lowers on an angle... so it falls out of the track that runs up and down. i've played around with the screw, but it still happens. do you think i need a new track in there?
Happens to me all the time, Your window regulator could be bent to, mine was.
I think Ima go to a junkyard an just get all new tracks an everything if its not to pricey. This problem gets annoyin when it rains alot

yeah yo... always in the rain.
if you push down on it while you lower it down, it'll go down further... sometimes all the way. but it's so frustrating, i need it fixed.
so the gunk yard is the only suggestion?

i have manual windows and the passenger one does the same thing. Its a pain in the ***. A new track would most likely fix it but im lasy so i just dont roll it down
