its late, my freinds just woke me up, took me to the casino to loose some money and now ive found a local 7point cusco cage for my ek hatchback,
its brand new and 700 dollars, i would like to have the security from the cage, since if i wreck my car bad im guaranteed to die pretty much
the guy also wants to buy some gun metal itr rims, so do you guys think i should try and trade my gunmetals plus a few dollars for the cage? my gm's have 2 bald tires(i guess that means its time to get new rims anyways
) and pick up a set of bronze volk gtn's for a grand?

p.s. i didnt let the clutch fulley engage going into 2nd today and almost blew up the motor

honestly, do what you want with the car. however, the cusco cage has received a lot of criticism on ht due to its design. think about what you'll be using the car for.

is that the only reason? im not to worried about that since the cusco cage doesnt have any bars right next to your head, the one that goes past the door is right next to the ceiling
i dont plan on wrecking my car but i plan for the worst, what if somebody else hits me around a corner and throws me off a cliff ill be thankfull for the cage then

hey i was the person selling the cage on nwsr... anyway the cage is now sold along with the SSR items. i can tell you where i ordered the cage from. PM me and ill send you in the right direction. however some the people on here are right.. for the money you can have art morison weld in a nicer cage for about half the price and have it powdercoated blue... GUESS what im doing with 700 i get from the selling the cage?

I am not sure why you are not grasping this concept. Your head will be MUCH WORSE OFF in an accident with a 'full' cage (i.e. forward tubes, not just a rollbar). Just because you think they arent close doesnt mean ****, you are thrown around the car in an accident (even if you were wearing a 5/6 point harness) and you will hit them with your head. And then you will be a ffing vegetable without a helmet on.
