yea i am installing an si cd player into my mothers 00 hx...how do you access the radion area,do you remove the front plate where all of the heater and ac controlls are. i am asking cause its not my car and i dont want to start breaking stuff on her car.
anybody done stereo work please help...

 

Okay, this is what you do..

1. Take off the center console.
2. Take off the area that surrounds the shifter/cup holders
3. Remove the panel below the steering wheel
4. Remove the panel below the radio (what the "cigarette" charger is attatched to)
5. The radio panel is held on by three screws.
6. After those are unscrewed, pull the panel off. It's held on by clips
7. Undo the plugs for the hazards and the heater controls.

Start taking apart the radio and your all set.
