You gotta undo all the bolts in the center counsol, remove the platic part where the armrest is attached to, then the platic piece covering the shifter, then removing the bottom part of the center counsol then undoing the screw that attaches the radio to the car itself. Yank the radio out and disconnect all the wires.
If anyone knows a more easy way please tell me. Because I spent like 30 minutes installing my new cd player and taking out everything.

Re: Instuctions for removing 99 civic radio? (95TEG)
step 1: Take off the botton panel under the steering wheel.
Should just be 3 srews. Then pull the panel out b/c it's held by clips.
step 2: Take off Glove Compartment. Just two srews on the bottom.
(You may work around this step if you can get to the srews in step 3)
step 3: Panel where the cig. lighter is. 6 srews. Two on the left side of the, two on
the right side, and two in the middle. Pull the panel off of disconnect the
cig. lighter.
step 4: There are four srews holding the whole climate control in place. Look
underneath the dash under the climate control. I forget which 4 they are.
Then pull your whole climate control out and disconnect all the plugs.
step 5: There are 2 or 4 srews holding in the radio to the bezel. You might have to
take the climate control unit (thing that controls the heat/cold, etc.) to get
one of the srews holding in the radio.
Hope that helps. I don't think I forgot anything.
