Default balancing weights on newly painted rims?

I just did a DIY paint job on my fat 5's today.

Before doing it i took a little black touch-up and marked on the tires where the weights go back on.

My concern is when I put them back on that it will scratch up my paint!!!

I have seen balancing wieghts on the inside of rims but can that be done in my case with the fat 5s or am i stuck with the clip ons? any advise if i am stuck with them?

I don't want to have to repaint and touch up everytime I get new tires.

PS. this topic is posted here cause I own a teg and I am not authorized to post in the wheels forum. i would have gladly have put it there.

Just have them balanced with adhesive weights.

yes, they just put the weight on the inside of the wheel rather than the outer lip.

It might've been perfectly balanced, you can rotate the tire on the wheel and sometimes get them perfect.

Just take the wheels to a tire shop and ask them to rebalance it with the weights on the inside.
