Default Please Help... tranny woes

I dont own a Civic or a Del Sol, but i used to. I posted this in the Integra forum, but the responses are to few and far in between. I really need an answer because I want to get this fixed this week if I can. thanks guys.

I have a 95 GSR with a stock clutch and pressure plate. I bought the car about a year ago pretty much stock and it shifted perfect. No problems at all. Pretty much the standard feel of a Honda tranny, shifted like butter. Since then ive added a few things engine wise and suspension wise. NEVER touched the tranny at all.

About a month ago it started to get harder to get into gear. Shifting was not at all smooth, but more of a notchy feel. I was also noticing a grind on the 1-2 shift while driving hard. At times it would refuse to even go into 2nd gear. To remedy this i changed the tranny fluid. Heard a lot of good things about GM synchromesh FM, so i went ahead and filled up with that.
The feel improved a tiny bit. But the apparent problem was progressing.

As of late the tranny will grind in gears 2, 3, and 4. Its almost impossible to downshift, which also requires much force on the shifter. If i drive hard from a start, the car WILL NOT go into 2nd unless i let the RPM drop to 3-4k. At a complete stop, with the clutch FULLY disengaged and the pedal all the way to the floor, i can feel the clutch engage ever so slighty. I feel the car periodically shake at a stop. It also does the same in all the rest of the gears. Sometimes the only way to get into first gear is to shift to second first. I also have to double clutch at times to upshift.

Ive changed my clutch master and clutch slave cylinders a few days ago, and that didnt help. What do you guys think??

check your shift fork and also the shift linkage. but to me it sounds like your clutch is in need of replacement.

I changed the clutch and pressure plate and it solved my prob.
