goin turbo
Ok, I have a stock D16Z that's goin in my rex. I have an HF manifold, and that's what I'm using to turbo. I just need to know a few things.
1. How cold of a spark plug should I use?
2. What size turbine, T3, or TD04?
3. how much do I retard my timing
4. can I still go with at least a stage 1 cam?
I'm only planning on running about 7psi, so I'll probably just throw in a block guard and call it a day. Other than that, I think I'm alright. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

TD04 would probably be better. Its smaller than a T3, but it will spool up nice and quick (lower RPM), plus they are used alot more in factory systems so finding one at a junkyard would probably be easier (since you mentioned the HF manifold, I thought I'd throw the junkyard part out there in case you like cheap).
Either way...probably not the best forum...try Forced Induction
Also a TD04 at 7 PSI won't put out a whole lot of power....but that maye be a safe thing for your aging engine. Maybe in the 140-160HP range. But if you turn up the heat, they can easily support well over 200HP.....

alright thanks man. I have the td04, and the t3 already. I just didn't know which would be more beneficial to use. I also didn't know how much boost a stock d16 could hold safely.
