Default vafc installation walkthrough

Does anyone know where to find an online walkthrough of a vafc install? I can understand the directions, but im more of visual learner and it would be great to a have a walkthrough so i dont mess anything up.

It's in the documentation available for download.

The wires you have to tee into are:
tach signal wire for rpm reading
TPS wire for throttle position reading
+12VDC power wire
(x2) brn/blk ground wires - one of them has to be closer to the ECU

The wires you have to wire the VAFC in series with (so the VAFC can intercept and alter the signal before it hits its target):
VTEC solenoid wire
MAP sensor wire

Other:
VTM wire gets cut and taped off.

If you have a VAFC-II, then you'll also need to tee into the knock sensor wire.

If you're good at soldering cleanly, I'd do that and heat shrink the connections. If not, then use the wire splices. Even if the wire splices are more of a liability than a good solder connection, a bad solder joint can be just as bad. Do what you're more comfortable with.

Does the VAFC reset if you undo the negative terminal of the battery?

no.... you have hit initialize on etc. to do that...

thanks for the help, b-series.net seems to be down, or a broken link. Anyone know where i can go for a pictorial walkthrough maybe?

the apexi site has one. just make sure u have adobe so u can dl the manual n etc.
pretty easy install, just tapping a few wires n spliccing 2. no less than 30minutes if u know where n what to do
