I have a '96 Integra. I'm trying to take the stock stereo out. Everyhere I've read says you just have to take out the 2 8mm bolts in the back. My problem is, there are 2 holes, but no bolts, and the stereo is still stuck in there. I don't know if they can be connected somewhere else. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

 

maybe this will help....i just had the screws like in the article, i dunno of anywhere else itd be attached....just read over the article and make sure you're not missing something!....good luck!

 

sorry to jack this thread but does any 1 know how to install the pocket underneath the stereo?

 

you mean install the pocket to the stock stereo?...i'll hafta look at mine when i get home cuz i dont remember how it is attached.

 

i wanna install it so it stays cuz i got a jvc cd deck and i dont know how it can hold up cuz everytime i drive it flys off

buy the metra dash kit that has the pocket on it

 

hmm i had that before my car got stolen i didnt really like how it looks..

 

if u get the right one then it should work perfect... mines flush as can b

if u still need a write up on radio removal ill hit it up later tonight

 

do you got a pic of what it looks like? and what brand is it thanks

 

man the metra dash kit is weird..i just bought it. it fits but the bracket wont and its plastic
