I got a 96 Civic Hatch B16A1 Motor.
Today when i was driving on the road i noticed my MPH gauge thingy is not working, its stuck at ZERO 0. My other two gaues are working (Temperature and Fuel). I have a monster tach and it seems to be fine, its just my MPH Gauge is not reading!!
Please help me, Im a noob, what could be the problem, How much to fix it?

Could be that your VSS, or vehicle speed sensor, is dying or has come disconnected. Look at the top of your transmission and see if you can find a sensor near the top rear of the transmission and look to see if the connector is still attached. If not, you may have a bad VSS. Usually when they die the speedometer works intermittently before it completely dies.

I have the same problem with mine. I bought the car and had the VSS replaced. It worked fine all summer, and now that the weather's getting cold it works every once in awhile. I don't know where the problem is or what it is.

Assuming yours is the electrical sensor, Check the connection at the sensor plug itself. they tend to get corroded easily and weather change will have a play in that. i usually recomend taking an Old toothbrush and somesolvent to scrub the terminals. then check to make sure the pins are still in their proper orientation and put a touch of white grease in the plug. reconnect and all should be fine check your work by driving around the block. if it still doesnt work then you may need to swap with a known good sensor and try that. If you have done any swaps to the cluster you may want to check your work and plugs behind there as well. Good luck
i got a si gauge cluster from a friend and it did not read properly so i canged th ecircut board on the back wit hone i knew was accurate and have not had any problems just a thought
