most brand-name exhausts come with a resonator, but sometimes people will add another one in the b-pipe.
do some searching and you'll be all set.

its really up to you what order you go in....i think that most people get a catback 1st.......i did the catback 1st, which includes resonator... then i did the header.... and now i'm about to get a cat.

you wont get much out of a header with a factory cat-back exhaust you should start from the back and work your way up, decide what your goals are first the you dont want piping that is going to be too small for your power goals

yeah, but you also won't get much out of an exhaust without upgrading the header, cat and intake.
erick aguilar recommends going in the order - intake, header, exhaust, which makes sense to me. and if any of you know who erick aguilar is (i would hope so) you would do well to listen to him.

I say get the headers and take your stock cat and hollow it out it goes the same thing as a straight pipe.

what is your goal? a gutted out cat may not give you any hp without tunning. i lost 5hp when i gutted out my cat a long time ago. i dynoed before and after, i made the 5hp back after the car got tuned.
