¿which works better for head work?

Default ¿which works better for head work?

im plannin on taking my head to the machine shop to be cleaned up and valve job done. but right now i dont have a intake manifold im plannin on an aebs. so should i buy that first and get it portmatched to my head and have that ported or do my head first and then buy the manni and take that in seperatley??????? which would be better for that situation? thanx

well with honda heads you don't really need to port it too much. I mean, you won't need to port match your intake manifold to the head b/c the port entrance won't be enlarged. All of the work is done by the bowl of the port, which is by the valve. Unless someone can prove me wrong, you shouldn't need to port match the IM to the head.

you can leave the im as is and enlarge the intake port on the head 1mm to prevent reversion

i want to port the aebs manifold cuz i herd its rough inside so i could do that seperatley? from the head then or is it not even worth it for that manifold? i herd its bettter to do that with the aebs am i wrong or what would it be worth it?
