Prelude 01 Valve Adjustment
it depends on how hard the engine has been beat on. If you have some mechanic skills take of the head and see what's going on and then if you can't do the work yourself at least you know what is going on with the valvetrain.

Thats a stupid post
Don't take your head off if you dont know what your doing/dont have the correct tools. Besides that you only need to take off the cam cover to inspect the valvetrain, just looking at it wont tell you jack.
You don't have to adjust them but you could check each one with a set of feeler guages and see whether they're in spec or not.
You'll still need a torque wrench for re-assembly.
Shakes did a good guide on valve lash adjustment, you should look in the Prelude links

i just had mine done..had 72,000 miles on the car..the valves started to get louder and louder so i had them adjusted..there not silent or anything but it sounds 10x's better than it did.if i were you i would do it..
