Default Changing rear speakers in a 99 Civic Coupe

How do you get the rear speakers out of a 99 coupe? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Take out the seats, then the side panels, then the top cover for the speakers. You'll need a 10mm and 12mm wrench.

So I have to remove the entire rear seat, or just the seatbacks that fold forward? And after that, I need to unbolt the side panels in the trunk or where the rear passenger would rest their arm?

Just the seatbacks. The rear decks are a bitch to take out though. There are quite a few clips that hold that deck on. You might want to have some of those white clips on hand.

It was such a pain I gave up and left the stock speakers there.

I don't have much patience with that sort of stuff though. I'll just pay someone to do it.
