CEL went on yesterday in my SI(well my girls').

Checked the code this morning and came out with CODE 22=VTEC oil pressure switch defective circuit or unplugged.But I don't have a manual to locate where the switch is.

Can somebody point me in the direction so I can try to fix it myself instead of taking it to the dealer.

this happend to me before when my check engine light was on..

 

CEL = check engine light

 

well the vtec oil pressure switch (green) on the vtec solenoid. manual says too:
disconnect the 2pin con. from switch.
check for continuity between the 2 terminals on the vtec press. switch
is there continuity? no--replace switch
yes--
turn ignition switch on measure voltage between blu/blk and body ground.ect......it goes onnnn so if you need more help just im me for the rest of the info
