sup, yesterday I noticed that when I shif into 1,3,5 the shifter hits the center console. In first gear if I some what launch it feels as if it will pop out of gear. It seems like I have to hold it in gear. I could be going at a slow pace in 1st gear and barly tap it down and it would pop out of gear. Is this bad synchros. The whole shifter moves every now and then on hard deceleration like when I had bad mounts. What ya think could be the prob?

 

Its sounds like the bushing for the shift linkage is bad or the linkage is bent.
