clutch question
i have a 97 accord coupe 5spd(of course) my question is, lately my clutch has felt really soft. i put clutch fluid in alwhile back, and that made it alil stiffer but now it seems to be goin soft on me. the clutch isn't slipping. so i am wondering if there is such a thing as....a clutch fluid flush? and would that fix the problem
could be your master cylinder, check the fluid level for a leak. if your clutch is going it will slip when it gets hot or at high rpm gear shifts. if you can grab 2nd rubber it's probably not your clutch.
wow jus tonite on my way to the movies i experienced this same problem for the second time now. firs time we ran down and got some brake fluid and filled the cylinder to the top and it waz perfect. 2 wks ago we had the fluid replaced along wit my oil change but then it happened again tonite... had to drive the mustang
problem is fluid is to the top and the clutch doesnt slip at all
