Clutch is stuck to the floor?
last night while driving my clutch went down, but wouldnt come back up unless i did it by hand...
once i pulled it up by hand and stepped on it again, i could then get it into gear
but after that driving home, i cant even get it into gear now when i push it down, it just goes down to the floor and the clutch is not engaged what so ever
i had to Slam it into 2nd to drive it home last night.....
so what could be the problem? is there some kind if linkage that the pedal is connected to that could be loose?

Yeah you might be leaking brake fluid from your slave master cylinder. But once you put in the fluid, your clutch pedal should be ok

Re: Clutch is stuck to the floor? (mycord)
hey 1 more question...
on the EG's i have 2 seperate Resoivoirs for Brake Fluid, the one big one, and then the one closer to the fender which is smaller and has a braided line that runs into the Firewall
the big one is Full, the but the small one doesnt have a fill line, and seems to be low or empty, is that the one for the clutch?

Just fill the little one up somewhat close to the top. have someone pump it then hold the pedal in, then open the line on the front of the transmission to allow the air to leak out. repeat and keep checking that reservoir. it will go down as the air leaves the lines. make sure u keep it filled.

^ k i filled it nearly to the top and pumped it, but it seems to have like no pressure, it still sticks to the floor if i dont pull it back up
also, what am i looking for for this line on the front of the tranny? is it the same braided line that runs from the resoivor?

if the fluid is getting low then you probably have a leak, check all the lines and check that the master isn't leaking inside the car, and yes the line in front of the tranny goes to the slave sylinder wich is were the bleeder is

so you bled the lines? cause if it leaked and went too low then you have air in there for sure.
the line in front of your tranny will be a hard steel line. theres a bleed valve on it. i guess you didnt bleed your lines after you put in the fluid
get a repair manual for your car and it'll have the steps. plus you'll have it for reference when something else goes wrong. thats IF

follow your clutch pedal up and look for fluid.
if thats dry, add some fluid to the resivor, pump the clutch a ton of times then go follow the line from the master to the slave and look for the leak.
odds are its a rubber portion of the line or a seal that went somewhere, should be obvious.

there has to be fluid going into the master cylinder. you HAVE to bleed it to find out where the leak is
but since you dont see it in the cabin or on the fire wall, im guessing your slave cylinder might've died.
