b18 cam removal

im parting out my old b18a motor dropped a JDM b16a in. iv taken off the valve cover and taken out all the screws but the cams ont budge. how should i take off the brackets holding the cams in place

obviously i dont know what im doing why would i ask a question 2 somthing i already know how 2 do? im parting it out cuz i got teh head built for a turbo and port an polished and its worth selling

if the cam caps wont come loose try using a lead shot hammer. make sure its plastic and dont mix up the camshaft caps, they go in a certain order.

u can also lift up on the cam gear itself once all the cam caps bolts are removed. this will break them loose. u can also use a screw driver to pry the cam up, but make sure u dont dent any part of the head.
