I have a friend that has a b16a head that is complete that is going to sell me for $400. Is this a good deal? It has 22k on it and I have a 95 LS in my 93 cx hatch, fully gutted I/E, dash and door panels that's it. I ran 14.5 ,1/4mile. With this head how much would my times change do you think? I know you get around 30-40HP with the VTEC head but just a idea.. Is there anything I should look out for? I know I need to get the kit for $200-$300, I found those in the search I did. Ohh My car weighs 2048 pounds with 3/4 tank of gas if that helps me out of it, I weigh 170lbs.. From what I found in the search my compression should go up from 9.5 to 9.9 since my b18 is JDM .3 higher compression.. Any info would be nice thanks

What block are you running B 18a or B18b? What CR?

I'm running the b18b block. Why wouldn't I be able to tell a difference I thought your supposed to get 30-40 HP increase with the LS/VTEC conversion??? I swear I read in magazine articles there was a pretty good increase in power.

What car did the head come off from? What mph did you hit with LS? I'm guessing if everything works out, mph probably increase to 97-100. That's 13 second range.
