Default Lower alt. bracket with JRSC kit?

I bought my JRSC kit (d16y8) used and I thought I had all the parts I need. But I just put on the JR crank pulley and it doesn't align with the alternator. I have a new upper alt. bracket, but do I also need some sort of lower alt. bracket? The crank pulley and alt. pulleys are only off by about an inch.

Geez, sometimes I ******* hate cars. I'm about two steps away from shooting my car to pieces.

The only way I could get the stock crank pulley off was to drill a hole in it and drive in a 3/8" bolt. Then I bolted the pulley to my frame so I couldn't spin when I pulled off the crank bolt.

Now the JR crank pulley doesn't work and I destroyed my stock crank pulley. Looks like I'm taking the bus for the next week until I can locate and buy this elusive lower alt. bracket.

sigh...
