Accord 2001 2-door window problem.... HELP!
when i roll my windows up like on the freeway or going fast then wont seal properly and wont go up all the way... they leave like a crack at the front of the window by the side mirrors... both my windows do this... does anyone have this same problem or know whats the deal with this.... thanks
You might want to check the seals and see if the window is going out of the track. Mine go up and sometimes lean a little forward cause they are not going all the way into the seals.
repeatedly bumping your post is annoying and a good way to get ignored.
but i will help anyway...
check your window tracks\seals and see if it properly aligned.....
if not you will have to take off the door panel and adjust it. also you might spray some silicone spray lubricant into the tracks to ensure better sliding...

it stays on the tracks just fine.... its like the front of the windows dips down right before the window is suposed to seal and it leaves like a gap there...
i will take the door panel off and see if i can adjust it or something
thanks for your help

ok, i have a 98 coupe. which is basically the same. i have that same exact problem(except no crack, just noise). mostly on the passengers side. i just keep tapping the switch up and it eventually comes up to normal. its just some kind of pressure problem i guess

yeah that is exactly how mine used to be but then got worse and now its as bad as its ever been which is now... i really wanna know how to fix this so if anyone can help me than please do.... thanks
The way the power window work is the circuit monitors how much current is going through the motor. When the window reaches the top or bottom stops the current increases, the circuit senses this and assumes the window is all the way up/down and shuts the motor off. You can try taking off the panel and lubricate the gears that move the window. Use medium duty grease, nothing to light or it will spread in hot weather. If the car has never been in an accident I doubt anything needs adjusting and you might make it worse.
thanks a bunch i will try that.... the car has been in an accident though... i was rear ended and sent into the car in front of me and it did some damage.... do you think the windows could be messed up from the accident??
thanks
thanks
