i was looking to replace the cap and rotor on my h22a although i don't think i can just go to my honda dealership and pick up parts for my motor becasue the cap has an internal coil as oppsed to external on usdm h22a4 or h22a1. so does anyone know a web site i can order one from? i was just looking for an oem replacment but an upgrade would not be out of the question if anyone has a suggestion. thanks in advance

I had the same dilemma, you actually will use a 90-93 accord dizzy cap. it's an internal coil with the same dizzy. not sure about the rotor but I'm pretty sure you will use it.

 

uh, my 93 ex was an external distributor. and my jdm h22 was internal. so i had to wire the yellow and yellow/black wires together. im pretty positive that you can use the 99-00 civic si rotor cap. i'm going to pick one up tomorrow.

your 93 accord EX?? well maybe they changed it that year but all I know is I went to shucks, asked for a cap for a 90-93 accord, not sure which model, maybe DX/LX, and then fit perfect.

 

well i had an external coil. yeah ionno either my 94 lx has external as well.

anyway, i just got my distributor cap. i got it from a 99-00 civic Si. theres 2 different ones, so make sure you clarify the differences. it's easy to tell.

so. 99-00 civic Si dist. cap = 92-96 jdm H22 dist. cap.
