how come everytime i seem to rev my engine high like till redline my tranny wont go into reverse easily or at all afterwards....ive notice this problem everytime i revved it high but noticed it the worst yesturday....all other gears work fine except for reverse....it takes awhile before i can go into reverse again....i have an itr tranny....is this a normal problem...how do is solve it....will GM syncromesh solve this?...ive heard alot about it

 

You might want to check your shifter, and shifter bushings, if that is not the problem, try syncromesh, it works awesome in honda transmissions.

 

Try shifting into 2nd or 4th and then try reverse. It might help when you are stuck.

 

i did try shifting into all gears...didnt help....which part is the shifter bushing?...would that cause this to happen....only happens after high revs...
