ls motor in 99 ex?

Default ls motor in 99 ex?

how much of an edge would i have on stock ex's with an ls motor in my civic along with i/h/e? Has anyone else done this swap into a 96-00 civic. If you have please let me knwo your results and times if possible.

You should have an edge, you'd have more hp and tq. It's hard to say an exact time, everyone is different and I don't have the swap...I'll guess mid-high 15's with a good driver. Stock Civic's weigh a little less than stock Teg's, and stock Teg's run low 16's I think, plus you'll have bolt-ons. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Depends on what you would like to do... Ls would be nice for turbo and you might be able to do that set up a little bit quicker only because the Ls would not be as much money as a B16...

I would do the LS but use a B16 or GSR tranny and put the B16 head on there. Close to the same cost as a B16 swap, less money then a GSR swap, but more power than either of them.
