Default b16a with ctr piston and ctr cams, what ecu or chip

im am getting my project together and the set is b16a with ctr piston and ctr cams. my question is what would be better or best for this set up.

as of now, stock p30 will power it.
will a fpr be good enough to power it with the p30? or would a chiping be the best. if chipping is the best way to go, what chip shuold i use or what should be the vtec crossover be so i can get a custom one.

i know u all motor guys should know this. and i know some1 has this set so please help asap. project almost done.

You can run any chip you please, We ran a Jun and mugen copy chips in my homies EF with P28...it ran hard..i would run FPR @ 50-60psi(with no vaccume signal attached) then mess with your VAFC..But i recomend getting it dynoed

BTW this setup loves to rev but i would rec keeping your fuel cut off at no more than 9,500rpm..you would shift at around 9000rpm though...I say this cause theres going to be those mishifts (trust me) and you dont want to crush a bearing..

you need a custom program to support that compression. All those knock off chips are crap.
get a program made for your needs

I would recomend using your P30 with an FPR and a VAFC if your budget is tight. Otherwise I would go with a chipped P28ecu (Erick's racing is good) and hondata, but the problem here is that you'll have to spend some time and money on the dyno to get it running at full potential safely. I'm pretty sure you'll want your VTEC cross over in between 5200-5600rpm. The dyno graph will tell you the best rpm though. Good luck
