axle question
Well this is for my brother he has a 92 accord ex sedan and the fron axles keep going out on him he has gone thru 3 axles in 3 years and now the left is clunking. he has had them replace and they keep going out the last set was brand new from honda and is still went out. he doesnt drive the car hard at all only has a aem SRI and a greddy evo never does burn outs or races what could cause this. a couple of years ago he had to have his tranny replaced b/c the *** hat who put his clutch in forgot to put fluid in it could the new tranny be misaligned so to say.
Gsr-2nr ,
Please repost, this makes little sense .
aem SRI and a greddy evo ??
What are these ??
The left and right side axles consist of inner and outer "constant velocity joints" which, when their boot is open or damaged will make a "click-clack noise. This happened to my old '88 Accord, I finally replaced both entire axles with Autozone units back in '97 or 98.
