What is the torque spec for the caliper bolts?

Default What is the torque spec for the caliper bolts?

Could someone please tell me what the torque spec is for the caliper bolts?

From what I remember the 17mm caliper bracket bolts are 90 lbs. The 14mm ones are signifigangly less.

Could someone please tell me what the torque spec is for the caliper bolts?
I don't have a service manual with me, but for someone who does... Are you looking for the bolt to mount the caliper to the hub, or the bolt you would tighten after changing pads? Front or rear?

The caliper bolts are like 80ft/lbs. The big ones that is.

If you look at the small bolts for just replacing pads, they don't hold any significant load. So you don't have to tighten them very much. Hmm. Just looked it up. It's 36 lbs-ft.
